Input Method
SCIM

1. Main Menu > System > Administration > Language Support > Install Chinese Support and check the "Enable support to enter complex characters"
   
2. Main Menu > System > Preferences > SCIM Input Method Setup > Select Smart Pinyin as the Chinese input method and change the hotkeys "Trigger" to "Control+Shift+Shift_L+KeyRelease".
3. Install scim-bridge, scim-qtimm
   
4. sudo gedit /etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/default
5. XIM=SCIM
   XIM_PROGRAM=/usr/bin/scim
   XIM_ARGS="-d"
   GTK_IM_MODULE=scim
   QT_IM_MODULE=scim
   DEPENDS="scim,scim-gtk2-immodule | scim-qtimm"
   
6. Relogin
   

More SCIM Settings
Panel > GTK > Auto snap [Unchecked], Vertical lookup table [Checked]
